Privacy policy details

Our Privacy Commitment

How we protect your information and confidentiality.

Caisey is built for professionals who handle privileged and confidential information every day. That single fact shapes every commitment on this page.

  • Information processed through Caisey is never used to train public or third-party AI models.
  • Customer information is never sold or licensed.
  • Customer information is never shared between firms.
  • Your firm retains all rights, title, and interest in its documents, emails, and outputs.
  • Confidentiality and attorney work product protections are respected throughout.

How Caisey Uses Information

The limited, purpose-bound ways Caisey accesses and processes data.

Caisey accesses and processes your information solely to provide the services you explicitly request, including:

  • Summarization of documents, correspondence, and case history.
  • Analysis of the material in a matter.
  • Drafting assistance for work product you review and approve.
  • Organization of documents, email, and case information.
  • Workflow assistance across your firm’s day-to-day process.
  • Search and retrieval across your firm’s own knowledge.

Processing happens to answer the request in front of it. It does not become training data for a public model, and it is not repurposed for advertising or marketing.

Email & Calendar Permissions

How we connect to Microsoft and Google, only with your authorization.

Caisey and Casefriend can connect to Microsoft and Google accounts so that case-related email and calendar information can be brought into your firm’s workflow.

Those connections are established only when an authorized user grants permission, and the access is used only to deliver the Casefriend and Caisey functionality that was requested — filing correspondence to the right matter, surfacing case-related messages, and keeping deadlines and appointments in sync.

Permission can be withdrawn at any time from your Microsoft or Google account, and from your Casefriend connection settings.

Security

Safeguards, access controls, and our security-first approach.

Customer information is protected with commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Access is limited to authorized personnel, on a need-to-know basis, and only to the extent required to operate and support the service.

Ownership of Data

Your documents, emails, and outputs remain yours.

Customers retain all rights, title, and interest in their data. Casefriend and Caisey claim no ownership over your documents, your email, or the outputs generated from them.

Your firm’s information is yours before Caisey reads it and yours afterwards. Nothing on this page grants us a claim to it.

Your Rights & Contact

Access, updates, opt-out, and how to reach us.

You can ask what information we hold, ask us to correct or update it, and opt out of marketing email at any time — every message we send carries an unsubscribe link.
